ANNOUNCEMENT

The organization’s planned events for October 17, 2020 in Aurora, Illinois and on December 12, 2020 at the Skokie Public Library have been postponed due to the current health crisis and danger to the public.

As a reminder, the memorial monument to the Philhellenes is currently scheduled to be installed in Democracy Square, Wilder Park, Aurora, Illinois on May 29, 2021 coinciding with the celebration of the 200^th anniversary of the Greek revolution.  We are grateful for the support of the Metropolis of Chicago and the City of Aurora and are looking forward to the dedication in the presence of civic leaders and guests.

               Better and happier days are ahead and we look forward to your support.

ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ

Ο σχεδιασμός των εκδηλώσεων του οργανισμού για το 2020 που προέβλεπε την διεξαγωγή τους για τις 17 Οκτωβρίου 2020 στην Aurora, Illinois (ομιλία) και στις 12 Δεκεμβρίου 2020 στην βιβλιοθήκη του Skokie, Illinois (ομιλία) εξ αιτίας της κρίσης και του κινδύνου της δημόσιας  υγείας αναβάλλεται.

Υπενθυμίζεται, δεδομένου της εορτής των 200 χρόνων της ελληνικής επανάστασης που έχει ανακοινωθεί για τις 29 Μαίου2021, και με την σύμφωνη γνώμη του Δήμου Aurora, και της εκκλησίας, θα παραδοθεί το μνημείο (ως το παρόν σχέδιο) στον Δήμο της Aurora με κάθε επισημότητα και παρουσία των αρχών του Νομου και προσκεκλημένων.

Τα καλύτερα και πιο ευχάριστα έρχονται και θα ανακοινωθούν.
