It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of the American Philhellenes Society Essay Program.

1^st Place – $1,000 Peter Maroutsos (Hellenic Academy)

2^nd Place – $500 Konstantina Limberatos and Irini Metaxas (Athena Hellenic Schools)

3^rd Place – $250 Peter Kontos (Pythagoras Greek School)

We applaud all these young people for their hard work and enthusiasm.  In fact, the decision was so difficult that, as you can see, we have added a third prize.
